Job Description and Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced company cyber security specialist to join our team and help us deliver services to clients in an efficient, professional, and quick way. The chosen candidate will be in charge of investigating IT systems for any security threats, creating strategies for disaster recovery in the event that security is breached, and handling reports of security breaches. Strong analytical abilities, proficient organizing and communication skills, and in-depth familiarity with cyber security and its instruments are required of the perfect applicant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations into security incidents, report them, and support the incident management procedure.
- Provide threat analysis and detection in real time.
- Keep an eye on network traffic to spot odd behaviour and any dangers.
- Support investigations in Major Incidents.
- SIEM tool operation, including suggestions for creation and tuning of rules.
- Respond to any security incident that is generated by the SIEM platform or that is discovered by the SIEM platform, including those that are logged in through our service desk.
- Perform penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
- Keep incident reports and security procedures documented.
- Stay informed on the most recent developments and threats in cybersecurity.
- Expand our threat-hunting skills in compliance with recognized industry guidelines.
- Work together with IT groups to put security best practices into action.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a cybersecurity role is essential.
- Programming Languages: Python (basic)
- Experience using Nmap and Nessus for vulnerability assessment
- Experience using Tools such as Metasploit
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms.
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc.).
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
